Hubcity Theatre Team
Hubcity Theatre, a registered charity, is run by a team of volunteers—including our Artistic Director, Board of Directors, and countless members of the community who contribute, both onstage and off, to bringing our shows to life.
JB Vanier
Our Artistic Director
JB Vanier is an award winning director, actor and playwright originally from Montreal by way of Miami. An Honor's graduate from Bishop's University and the Artistic Director to the Little Forks Theatre Company for three years, JB has performed and directed theatre ranging from classical and Shakespearean pieces to contemporary Canadian works. He joined Hubcity in 2016 as an actor and has since also directed and fight choreographed.
Board of Directors
As a working Board, our Directors serve dual roles—managing both the strategic oversight and governance of the company, as well as running its everyday operations with duties including administration, communications, marketing and accounting.
Board members are also instrumental in mounting productions, and often serve as producers, directors, stage managers, production designers, set builders, performers, photographers, volunteer coordinators, and much more.
Want to take part?
We typically accept applications for Board Members on an annual basis. If you’re interested in helping keep the arts alive in the Greater Moncton community through both hands-on and strategic work, please reach out!
